A healthy body needs a healthy immune system, a healthy skin, a healthy scalp, healthy hair. All these need nutrients, vitamins and minerals. The one absolute essential mineral is ZINC especially in cases of dandruff.

Zinc works with the several proteins that are located throughout your body in order to create a support system for your body. Zinc is needed for cell division, for the growth and maintenance of muscles, for controlling oil glands, for the synthesis of protein and collagen – so important for wound healing and a healthy skin.

Zinc deficiency produces problems to the skin, hence problems to the scalp and eventually the dreaded consequence – hair loss. Hair loss may be due to inadequate nutrients. You will experience weak or falling hair if you lack the sufficient vitamins necessary for the growth and maintenance of healthy hair. One essential nutrient that you must absolutely have to avoid hair loss is zinc. Zinc deficiency will cause the scalp to become dry or flaky and itchy. Even when hair is already grey, or becoming thinner and balding, zinc can reverse the effects when taken in proper amounts.

An excessive production of sebum is often associated with dandruff and scaling of the skin. The maintenance of the correct physiological equilibrium of the scalp and the skin becomes important to prevent irritation and cases of  redness of the skin that are brought about by these conditions. KITO-Z AMPOULES of Alta Care Laboratoires have a deep anti-inflammatory action and they regulate the physiological equilibrium of the hair and the scalp. Ampoules are a guarantee that the ingredient of zinc and others are not only present, but protected from any type of contamination prior to use.  Zinc is presented in ampoules and in an alcohol base for an astringent and anti-dandruff effect.

KITO-Z OTC SHAMPOO  of  Alta Care Laboratoires, Paris, combines octipirox (anti-rednesss), triclosan (anti-bacterial), climbazole (anti-fungal) and Zinc Pyrithione,  that treat both skin and hair inestetisms.

Zinc pyrithione, found in KITO-Z SHAMPOO, is a chemical compound used as an antifungal and antibacterial agent. Zinc pyrithione is best known for its use in treating dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis. It also has antibacterial properties and is effective against many pathogens from the streptococcus and staphylococcus class. Its other medical applications include treatments of  psoriasis, eczema, ringworm, fungus, athletes foot, dry skin atypical dermatitis, tinea and vitiligo. Because of its anti-fungal properties, it is commonly found in dandruff shampoo. Products containing pyrithione zinc are available today; it is the main ingredient in many other over-the-counter creams, lotions, soaps, and shampoos.

Our skin sheds itself every 24 to 28 days. Dandruff is that process happening faster than it normally would. Many people who think they have dandruff actually have over active sebaceous glands. They accrue a build up of oil and dead skin cells when they do not properly clean around their scalp. Now this is a problem that can be managed easier than thought previously. KITO-Z AMPOULES and KITO-Z SHAMPOO of Alta Care Laboratoires will provide you with highly satisfactory results.

KITO-Z AMPOULES and KITO-Z SHAMPOO will:
reduce the itchy feeling and irritation,
reduce excess sebum,
